Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 11, 2026

This Washington Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy ("Policy") supplements the AlignFit Privacy Policy. It applies solely to Washington consumers who interact with us in an individual or household capacity, and applies only to personal information defined as "consumer health data" under the Washington My Health My Data Act (MHMDA). Capitalized terms not defined here have the same meaning as in the AlignFit Privacy Policy.

Before we collect any consumer health data from you, you will be presented with a clear "I Agree" checkbox or button, separate from your general acceptance of our Terms of Service, confirming your affirmative consent to that collection. We do not collect consumer health data until you provide this agreement. If you later withdraw this consent, we will stop collecting new consumer health data from you and will honor deletion requests as described in Section 5 below, though this may limit or disable features of the App that depend on this information.

1. Categories of Consumer Health Data We Collect

We may collect or receive the following categories of consumer health data:

• Health and wellness information submitted as part of your account, including health conditions, injuries, and other health-related information you choose to provide.
• Food and Activity Data, including:
  • Dietary habits, dietary style, and dietary restrictions;
  • Fitness goals, fitness level, and workout activity;
  • Body measurements (height, weight, target weight) and calculated calorie and macronutrient targets.
• Profile information that includes health data, such as age and gender from your account profile, which we may combine with other information we have collected about you.
• AI coach conversations, to the extent your messages reference your health, fitness, or dietary information.

We do not currently collect Connected Health Device Data (information from third-party wearables or apps like Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect). If that changes, this Policy will be updated before any such integration launches.

2. Sources of Consumer Health Data

We collect consumer health data:

• Directly from you, through account registration and onboarding;
• Through your use of the App, including meal/workout logging, progress check-ins, and AI coach conversations;
• Through photos you submit for meal or barcode scanning.

3. Purposes for Collecting Consumer Health Data

We collect and use consumer health data to:

• Provide, personalize, and maintain the App, including generating your workout and nutrition plans and powering the AI coach;
• Analyze meal and barcode photos you submit;
• Track your progress over time;
• Communicate with you about your account and respond to your requests;
• Comply with our legal obligations.

We do not use consumer health data for advertising or marketing purposes, and we do not sell it.

4. Sharing of Consumer Health Data

We share consumer health data only as follows:

We do not share consumer health data with advertising or marketing partners, data brokers, or any party for purposes unrelated to providing the App to you. We may also disclose consumer health data where required by law or with your consent.

5. Your Washington Consumer Health Data Rights

Washington residents have the right to:

1. Request access to the consumer health data we have collected about you;
2. Confirm whether we have disclosed or sold your consumer health data (we do not sell it);
3. Delete your consumer health data; and
4. Withdraw consent or authorization relating to our collection or sharing of your consumer health data.

To submit a request, contact us at support@alignfit.ai. Because health, fitness, and dietary information is core to how AlignFit generates your plans and powers the AI coach, deleting this data or withdrawing consent will substantially limit or disable those features. If you request deletion of this data, we will treat it as a request to delete your full account as described in the AlignFit Privacy Policy's Data Retention & Deletion section, unless you tell us otherwise and we are able to accommodate a partial deletion.

6. How to Submit an Appeal

If you wish to appeal a decision we've made on a request under this Policy, contact us at support@alignfit.ai and reference your original request so we can review it. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
